What is Animal Symbolism or Totem Animals?

Sometimes spirit or the universe speaks to us through animals.  

If you continually see a certain animal, feel undeniably drawn to a certain animal, or unexplainable and unique things keep occuring surrunding a certain animal, it is probable that you are receiving a message utilizing this form of symbolism. 

The animal  is being used to try to get your attention.  In this case the animal is being used as a vessel or channel for spirit to deliver a message to you.
